DIGITAL WORKFLOW
I have been shooting exclusively digital since late 2000, even in such demanding situations as an expedition to the Mongolian part of Gobi desert (right). By shooting digital, I can feel some fresh excitement and invigoration of style in my recent workand I just love the immediate feedback and all other countless advantages digital offers over film.
My newest coffee table book LUXUS UNTER SEGELN was shot almost 100% digital (except for a few snaps with my underwater point-and-shoot) do I need to say more?
Since a couple of years, I am using Apple's fabulous Aperture Software as the centerpiece of my photographic universeand life has become a lot easier and better organized since then, both at home and while on the road.
I am shooting exclusively in RAW format with EOS 5D Mark II and 7D cameras, fine-tuning all selects in Aperture and uploading the finished files to my Photoshelter Online-Archive or directly to my clients via FTP or e-mail.
Delivery of a job on CD, DVD etc is also possible, as is the addition of contact sheets, work- or proofprints (please contact me for Details).
Over the years, I have aquired considerable know-how concerning book production. Besides working out a concept, doing all necessary research, providing images and text, I am also able to deliver a complete book project as a pre-press-ready PDF, using InDesign and Acrobat.
